Infrared Heat Lamp Therapy

The heat produced by the ceramic heating element of the Far Infrared Heater (FIH) is a very comfortable level of heat that is deeply absorbed by the body. The sun emits far infrared radiation. In an analogy that helps us understand the kind of warmth that this is think of a 75 degree room in the winter vs a 75 degree room in the summer. The difference in how the heat feels is due to the lack of FIH in the winter months due to the axis of the earth.

The FIH may be used with the acupuncture needles to help stimulate the effects of the needles. FIR heat has also been used by medical practitioners to treat sprains, strains, bursitis, peripheral vascular disease, arthritis and muscle pain. Fir heat warms the body, increasing capillary blood flow. Increased capillary blood helps to carry more oxygen and nutrients to the cell and carry away metabolic cellular waste.
